Phenix Grupo As part of the pipeline project, Phenix Group Ventures Corp and Phenix Grupo will implement schools for the purpose of training all aspects of the pipeline including construction, implementation, maintanance and operation. The various high level skills needed to build and operate the pipeline will be a mandatory part of the hiring process for indigenous population. Phenix Grupo will hire a minimum of ten local people for every one non-Panamanian worker. Many of the skills required of the workers are not readily available in the immediate vicinity of the construction project. This provides an opportunity to assist local communities to broaden the capabilities of their workers. The consequent injection of capital into the local economy will help the communities to grow and prosper and create marketable skills needed on the larger world stage. Part of Phenix Group Ventures Corp's mandate is to provide trickle down economic impact on the local communities and the host country. Not only will we train the people needed for the project but we will also train the trainers so that the skills can be continually updated and passed on to new generations of workers. It is anticipated that hundreds of local workers will have the opportunity to participate in the construction and eventual operation of the pipeline. Some of the education will be focused on the traditional construction trades including heavy equipment operation and all the supporting activities such as equipment repair and maintenance. It will also include high tech skill sets such as fiber optic cabling, Wi-Fi, local area networking and wide area networking as well as VOIP communications. Two data centers will be built in conjunction with the project and the assembly, implementation, operation and maintenance of those facilities will fall to the graduates of our schools. Upon completion of the project, Phenix Grupo and Phenix Group Ventures Corp will leave behind a highly trained and employable workforce and many of them will continue to be part of the ongoing operation of the pipeline, tank farms, refinery, deepwater ports and the technology components including the control, operation and data centers.
