Edwin Kettenbrink, Jr., Ph.D., PG. – VP Oil Pipeline


Mr. Kettenbrink is an experienced manager of oil and gas exploration projects.  He has over 20 years of oil and gas experience.  Mr. Kettenbrink’s background includes President / Country Manager and Senior Vice President of Exploration for Harken International, Ltd., from 1996 to 2002.  During his tenure at Harkin, Mr. Kettenbrink was responsible for: exploration of more than 1 million acres in Columbia; increasing potential reserves by several hundred million barrels; and drilling 8 successful wildcats in Columbia.

From 1969 to 1996, Mr. Kettenbrink was Owner and Principal of Landmark Environmental   a company that specialized in assessment and remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater.  From 1984 to 1989, he was a Vice President of Environmental Concerns for Harken Energy Corp.  Mr. Kettenbrink holds a BS and MS in Geology with a minor in Mining Engineering from The University of Missouri. He holds a Ph.D. in Geology from The University of Iowa.  He a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Society of Exploration Geophsicists, Houston Geological Society, National Ground Water Association, Association of Ground Water Scientists and Engineers, Texas Association of Professional Geologists and the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
