Mr. Abadie has an 18 year legal background. He is Director of New Ventures for Phenix Energy Group, Incorporated  Mr. Abadie’s legal background includes Vice President and General Counsel for MKJ Exploraciones Internacionales, LLC a petroleum exploration company from 2001 to present.

From 2001 to present, Mr. Abadie has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Harken Costa Rica Holdings, LLC which is an oil and gas exploration company located in Costa Rica.  From 1998 to present, he was VP & General Counsel for MKJ Xploration, Inc.  Prior to 1998, Mr. Abadie worked in various legal capacities for companies including Exxon Company.
